Navigating high school life can be challenging, trying to balance the stress of academics, a social
life, family, and growing up. This group is designed to provide support to young women during
this anxiety-provoking stage of life. Group members will learn to better understand and adopt
skills for managing anxiety. In a safe environment, the group will explore personal experiences
and practice skills. This group will be beneficial for members to learn new ways of managing
anxiety, to have a more positive high school experience while creating long-lasting life changes.
Group members learn to:
 Improve and strengthen relationships
 Practice healthy communication
 Better understand anxiety
 Identify anxiety triggers
 Practice and implement useful coping skills
 Learn tools for managing daily life stressors
 Strengthen problem-solving strategies
 Improve self-esteem
Group Leader: Taylor Kennedy, MSW, LMSW enjoys
working with clients of all ages and specializes in private
therapy for children, adolescents, young adults, and families.
She believes in collaborative care to create intentional services.
Taylor utilizes a variety of therapeutic techniques and often
incorporates multiple approaches to facilitate growth and longlasting change. She is passionate about establishing a working
alliance and therapeutic bond to create a safe space.
Who Should Attend: High School Girls
Cost: $240 for 6, 90-minute sessions. Fees are paid upon registration.
Date and time: Tuesdays: June 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th, July 6th and July 13th.
12 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Location: Online, using the Zoom meeting format.
