Senior Care Services
Senior Care Services
Our senior care specialists at WCPA know that aging can bring new challenges. Chronic medical issues, loss of independence, caregiver stress, cognitive changes, and grief are common issues that arise as individuals and families age. Depression, anxiety, or prolonged grief reactions are often overlooked or misdiagnosed in medical settings, leading to further impairments in a person’s emotional, mental, and social well-being.
We believe therapy provides a secure space for aging clients to engage, reduce loneliness, and process emotions in a healthy way. Our experienced therapists are available to conduct a thorough assessment and create an individualized treatment plan with clients to achieve goals and improve quality of life. Therapists are available to treat clients in our office or visit on-site at senior care communities in the St. Louis area.
Our therapists also recognize the need for quality information, support, and training in the senior care community. Clinicians are available to support and educate caregivers, home care agencies, and senior care communities on a variety of topics related to aging and mental health. These services may be provided as a single presentation or in an ongoing consultation format. Please contact our main office for more information.
We accept traditional Medicare as a primary insurance and are out-of-network providers for other medical insurance plans. We are proud to partner with a premiere care management company, Care Choice Care Management, to ensure our clients’ needs are met beyond the scope of therapy.
